NCache Express releases distributed cache for .NET
Alachisoft has released NCache Express 3.2, a FREE in-memory distributed object cache for .NET. NCache Express lets you scale up your .NET application performance by caching frequently used application data close-by and reducing expensive database trips. NCache Express is totally FREE to use and is not a trial version.
NCache Express provides InProc/OutProc local cache and a distributed cache. OutProc local cache allows your .NET applications in web gardens or other multi-process environments to share a common local cache. And, distributed cache allows your .NET applications to share cache in a multi-server environment. The distributed cache synchronizes all cache updates automatically across servers.
Integration with Caching Application Block NCache Express provides a seamless integration with Caching Application Block in Enterprise Library 4.0. You can now incorporate NCache Express into your Caching Block apps without any code change.
Integration with NHibernate NCache Express provides a seamless integration with NHibernate, an Open Source O/R Mapping engine. You can now incorporate NCache Express into your NHibernate apps without any code change.
NCache Express is a limited feature edition intended for up to 2 server configurations. It provides stand-alone Local Cache and 2-node Replicated Cache topologies.
NCache Enterprise (the commerical edition) scales up to larger configurations easily and also provides a lot of other important caching features. NCache Enteprise provides Mirrored, Replicated, Partitioned, Partition-Replica, and Client Cache topologies to handle your scalability needs. You can start with NCache Express now and move to NCache Enterprise seamlessly as your needs grow.
NCache Enterprise also provides a highly scalable ASP.NET Session State storage in distributed cache. And, it also provides a scalable ASP.NET Output Cache storage.
