Logging system for .NET applications
UptoLog simplifies trouble shooting by gathering error log information to support the process. The error log information gathered by UptoLog is sought out through a web application (UptoLog Search Server) which makes it easy to get an overview of the error situation. By means of an activity ID UptoLog makes it easy to discover connections between errors that occur on different computers - and to visualize the connection via UptoLog Search Server. As a result, errors that used to be difficult to locate because it was impossible to see what caused them can now be immediately corrected as the connection and the cause are clearly visualised.
UptoLog can be used in all types of .NET applications: - Web applications - Client applications - Web service applications UptoLog supports all kinds of applications - stand alone applications as well as applications in enterprise SOA architecture. The UptoLog client (UptoLog Satellite) is integrated into the application and therefore it can log error information from within the individual application and from the server or the client. It is the developer who decides how much information the UptoLog Satellite is meant to collect and send along with the error log.
You can try out UptoLog Search test server online and download a test application which logs the error information to the UptoLog test server.
Or you can download and use the UptoLog Trial Edition for free for 30 days.
UptoLog is constructed by SOA architect and .NET architect Anders Revsgaard, who has been the main architect of several smaller and larger applications: "I have considerable experience working with SOA in .NET enterprise applications including sub-stantial knowledge about all the parts used in a SOA architecture and how the individual elements are put together. During my years of working as an architect I have often been in need of an effi-cient standard logging system and this is how I came up with the idea for UptoLog."
UptoLog is sold in three different versions - all of which includes one year of full support.
