Gardens Point Ruby.NET compiler is out
The preliminary beta release of the Gardens Point Ruby.NET compiler is out. The Queensland University of Technology crew responsible for the software notes that it is a true .NET compiler. Yes it is beta, but the team notes that it "is the only Ruby compiler that we know of for either the .NET or JVM platforms that is able to pass all 871 tests in the samples/test.rb installation test suite of Ruby 1.8.2."

It seems there are a couple of Ruby.Net options out there. Is there somewhere an overview of these options including how they compare and what state they are in (alpha/beta)?
Btw, their site is down: Server Error in '/' Application.

Just a note from a recent conversation with the folks behind the Lang.NET symposium:
With Gardens Point.. Gough is writing a native Ruby compiler from scratch. He is looking at whatever spec there is and trying to write a completely new comiiler for Ruby that targets the CLR. What John Lam is doing is making a bridge from .NET ... tightly coupled to an existing Ruby compiler.
