New SOA section of Architecture Center
Microsoft is launching a new section on Architecture Center for all the Service-Oriented Architecture related content. Content on the site includes material from Architects JOURNAL. Featured on the new page is an updated version of Pat Helland's Metropolis presentation.
In this updated version, Pat describes Metropolis, then drills down on practical SOA concepts as well as on guidance that Metropolis provides in today's IT shop.

New SOA section of Architecture Center
The Opening Remarks on the Center say this:
"The goal for a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a world wide mesh of collaborating services, which are published and available for invocation on the Service Bus. "
So, it is interesting this notion of the Service Bus. Is it or is it not yet agreed that this central spinal cord ESB aproach is the right way to go. I have played with some of these ideas, and I am still not convinced one way or the other. any thoughts?
