ASP.NET Cache and its limitations Posted by: Deepak Mehta on October 21, 2008 DIGG For anybody considering ASP.NET Cache as a caching solution - especially in a web farm environment - scalability, performance and reliability is an issue. I found an indepth article that talks about ASP.NET Cache and its various limitations in case of Web Farms. It describes the various bottlenecks that a developer might face when trying to create a robust distributed application using ASP.NET Cache. If distributed cache can provide the cure to all that ails ASP.NET Cache, shouldn't everybody be using it? What do you think?
